These terms apply to orders, bookings and enquiries made on this website with Prawn Star, 311 Vause Road, Durban.
1. Prices and menu
Prices are in South African rand and include VAT where applicable. Fresh fish is priced per kilogram on the day. Dishes and prices can change; the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. Some items can sell out, in which case we contact you to swap or refund.
2. Orders
An order is accepted when you receive the order confirmation. Delivery fees follow the zones on the delivery page. Payment is on delivery or collection by card or cash, or online where offered.
3. Table bookings
We hold your table for 15 minutes. Bigger group or a celebration? WhatsApp us and we will set it up. Please cancel with the link in your confirmation if your plans change, so we can offer the table to someone else.
4. Pop-ups and catering
Pop-up dates, venues and menus can change because of weather or the venue; we post changes on this site and on Instagram. Catering is confirmed with a written quote, and a deposit may be required to secure the date.
5. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as load shedding, weather or road closures.
